EUGENE, Ore.– Personal safety training will be offered by Lane Community College Public Safety on Thursday, February 28, including:
- Sexual Assault Awareness & Response from 11 a.m.-12:20 p.m.;
- Dating and Domestic Violence Awareness from 12:30-1:20 p.m.;
- Basic Self-Defense Training from 1:30-4:30 p.m.
Instruction will be provided by Public Safety Lt. Lisa Rupp, Sgt. Valerie Miller, and Cpl. Robin Williams.
The trainings are free and open to all ages. Participants may take any of the sessions or all three. All trainings will be held in building 4, room 104, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue, Eugene. The trainings are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
