At Lane, we understand there’s more involved in academic success than just academics.
Help Navigating Resources
With so many helpful resources, just navigating all of them can seem overwhelming! But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
The Career Pathways Department can help any LCC student connect with a variety of community resources, including helping you apply for SNAP and housing, food, or tuition assistance. If you’re already receiving SNAP, they can also help you connect with the STEP and other programs that can help you succeed at school.
Resources at Lane
As a student at Lane, you’re a part of a community dedicated to helping you succeed!
Student Life and Leadership Development supports students by helping with basic needs through a food pantry as well as the School Supply Shelf. All services below are open to all students currently enrolled in classes at Lane Community College.
Titan Pantry and Closet
The Titan Pantry and Closet provides free nutritious food, personal hygiene products, and clothing for students in need.
Tutoring
Tutoring is free to all Lane students and covers more than 50 subjects. You can drop in or make an appointment for on-campus or online (through Zoom) tutoring, or email tutoring@lanecc.edu with any questions.
The Zen Den
Part of the Student Health and Wellness Center, the Zen Den is a safe and quiet place where you can relax and rejuvenate with self-guided meditation, massage chairs, crafts, and more.
Student Legal Services
Legal Services are a student benefit available to students paying the student activity fee.
Tax Help
Most years Lane hosts the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program, which provides free help for filing U.S. tax returns.
School Supply Shelf
The school supply shelf is stocked with school and office supplies for LCC students. Available items may include spiral notebooks, three-ring binders, ruled and graph paper, report covers, pocket folders, pens and pencils, paperclips, erasers, etc. Our inventory varies greatly and is dependent on community donations.
Donations
If you are a college department, please send your items to surplus so that we stay in compliance with the college procedure for disposal of campus property. Otherwise, please leave your donation at the front desk inside the Student Life office (CEN 201). Thank you!

Community Resources
While it would be impossible to list all of the resources available in the community, here are a few that students have found most helpful as they navigate school, work and family.
