What is my child learning at preschool?
We provide opportunities for children to learn and practice skills in many areas of their development. Some things children learn at preschool include: using prosocial behavior, responsibility for themselves and others, following rules, and using their reasoning skills for problem solving. Children practice gross motor skills by running, climbing, jumping and playing; they build fine motor skills by exploring manipulatives, writing tools, drawing and painting. Teachers also provide many opportunities for preliteracy and language development through reading, rhyming and building vocabulary.
Our newsletters are filled with overviews of each classroom's activities, events, and photos, as well as Center wide updates and opportunities. Subscribe to the newsletter to stay updated and involved in your child's classroom!
