The Recording Studio in LCC's MDTA Resource Center is home to three new classes dedicated to teaching students about recording, mixing, and processing audio. In Audio Engineering 1 (MUS 107), Audio Engineering 2 (MUS 109), and Audio Engineering 3 (MUS 110), students get to work with professional software and hardware to produce studio quality recordings and prepare for work in the field of audio engineering and studio production.
The Recording Studio provides a tracking room large enough for 24 musicians, an isolation booth for singers, drums or cabinets, and a large Control Room filled with the tools of the trade:
