Resources for the Community

As the community’s college, we're not just for students. Our programs and efforts touch many lives throughout Lane County, and have for decades. No matter who you are, we have something for you. Check out some of the many resources available to you as a community member:

Dental Clinic 

You’ll find a lot to smile about at Lane’s Dental Clinic where dental hygiene and dental assistant students receive first-hand experience serving the community under the supervision of licensed dentists and dental care professionals. The clinic provides a full range of affordable services and specializes in treating patients without recent access to dental care.

KLCC

KLCC is a public radio station licensed by Lane. The station is a charter member of National Public Radio (NPR) and is the primary NPR affiliate in the Eugene/Springfield area. The station reaches more than 88,000 listeners weekly within a 100-mile radius of Eugene.

LCC Longhouse

Longhouse

Lane’s Longhouse is a place of cultural learning and tradition. It serves as a learning space for students and a gathering place for cultural events. Completed in 2010, the Longhouse operates under the direction of the Longhouse steward to ensure its activities support the space’s cultural purpose.

Quality Care Connections 

Are you interested in becoming a child care provider? Our Quality Care Connections program staff can help! Our staff offers assistance for starting and maintaining your child care business through training, technical assistance, and information on pathways to licensure through the State of Oregon.

Senior Companion Program

The Senior Companion Program of Lane County improves the quality of life for the citizens of Lane County by providing supportive services and companionship to disabled and isolated adults. Learn how you can get involved, either by volunteering as a companion or requesting one for yourself.

Small Business Development Center 

Whether you have a small business up and running or you’re trying to get one off the ground, SBDC advisors can help through free, confidential, and one-on-one advising consultations. The center also provides professional development through both no-cost and fee-based workshops and programming.

Space rental 

Looking for space for your next meeting, retreat, or event? Lane may be able to provide the space you need. While preference is given to academic and college operations, Lane’s multiple locations may have space available to fit your needs. Discount rates are available for tax- and public-supported nonprofit organizations and those organizations who require the space to provide services for Lane students and employees.

STEP

STEP (SNAP Training and Employment Partnership) is a program offered throughout Oregon for individuals receiving SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits and who are interested in pursuing job and/or training opportunities.
