Monday's reported physical attack and harassment of a Eugene woman for being transgender both saddens and infuriates me and is inconsistent with the values of Lane Community College. This type of behavior has no place in our community. Lane is a diverse and inclusive community where we promote a learning environment that values gender identity safety, wellbeing, and respect.
