Recruitment of Service Members
Lane Community College is open to all applicants who are qualified according to its admission requirements. It does not provide commission, bonuses or any type of incentive for the recruitment and enrollment of students, including Service members.
Lane Community College recruits and enrolls students using channels of shared, local college fairs, local events, various networking groups, and requests for information. Lane has a small admissions team of three recruiters and it does not engage in high-pressure recruitment tactics. Lane does not engage in same-day recruitment and registration for securing student enrollment of any kind, including Service members.
The college supports non-partisan, student-led (peer-to-peer) voter registration drives, and recognizes the voter registration efforts led by the Lane Student Government Association (Lane SGA) in partnership with the Oregon Student Association and the Oregon Community College Student Association as the college's primary student voter registration drive.
