The Works Student Dance Concert
The Works is an annual student dance concert held in the Ragozzino Performance Hall which provides a venue for students to create and produce their work. It is the culmination of a yearlong course of study to develop choreographic and performance skills. The courses include Dance Improvisation, Dance Composition and Group Choreography. Students explore costume and lighting design to fulfill their artistic visions.
Collaborations
Collaborations dance concert contributes to the vitality of the local dance scene by sponsoring works of community and guest artists and providing performance training for the talented students dance classes. Dances are presented in a shared concert program. Performing with local dance artists is both an honor and a learning experience for Lane's students, bridging the educational and professional dance worlds.
