LCC to host Oregon Transfer Day event, Jan. 24

Students can explore four-year college options at Oregon Transfer Days - LCC event will be Thursday, January 24

EUGENE, Ore.—To help Oregon community college students successfully transition to a four-year university, Oregon colleges and universities collaborate each year to bring Oregon Transfer Days to community college campuses statewide. The event offers students a chance to talk with admissions officials and learn about each institution’s offerings, admissions requirements, choosing courses wisely, navigating college costs and financial aid, and tools to make transfer as seamless as possible.

Oregon Transfer Days at Lane Community College will be held Thursday, January 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Northwest Haugland Commons area on the second floor of the Center Building, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue in Eugene.

Thousands of students each year make the transition from a community college to a four-year college or university. Planning ahead helps students to find the right fit in a college program and to transfer credits effectively, saving money and time.

Oregon Transfer Days is coordinated by a task force of Oregon Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (ORACRO). More information can be found online.
