Public Notice of Upcoming Accreditation Review Visit by the ACEN

Lane Community College Nursing Programs wish to announce they will host a site visit for initial accreditation of its Licensed Practical Nursing, LPN to RN Pathway and Registered Nursing programs by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN.)

You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled at Lane Community College in Building 19 the Center for Meeting and Learning, Room 103 from 3:30-4:30pm on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

Effective July 3rd, 2023, the Practical Nursing and Registered Nursing program at Lane Community College in Eugene Oregon is a candidate for initial accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. This candidacy status expires on July 3, 2025. There will be a site visit on October 10, 2024.

Note: Upon granting initial accreditation by the ACEN Board of Commissioners, the effective date of initial accreditation is the date on which the nursing program was approved by the ACEN as a candidate program that concluded in the ACEN Board of Commissioners granting initial accreditation.
