Interactive Campus Map — The Center for Accessible Resources (CAR) is pleased to announce the accessibility feature in the Campus Map is live! Lane has many features increasing accessibility, such as Evacu-Tracs, electric doors, single stall restrooms, gender neutral restrooms and resting places. The interactive map now easily directs students and staff to these, as well as accessible parking spaces, elevators, and ramps! The accessibility feature of the Campus Map is active online and on mobile devices. Updates to accessibility related detours and other access concerns will also be available on this system when necessary.
Watch the video below to learn how to navigate the interactive map and find accessibility features on campus!
Parking: In addition to our accessible parking spaces, there are a few accessible parking spaces on campus that require a permit from CAR in order to park there. These permits are given to eligible CAR students. If you are a CAR student currently taking on-campus classes and need more information about accessible parking, please contact your Accommodation Specialist.
Here are the locations of the "CAR permit only" parking spaces:
- Ground Floor of Building 15
- Lot E outside of Building 19
- Outside of Building 9/10
Note: The Center Building south elevator has been reprogrammed to operate freely between the second and third floors of the Library. Access at the first and fourth floors has been restricted to key-only. Previously, this elevator had been programmed for free access between the first and fourth floors and key only access between the second and third floors. With this previous setting, a Library employee was required to use a key to unlock the elevator to help students with access between the second and third floors. Access between the first and fourth floor is still unrestricted in the north and the west elevators. If you are an employee who requires use of the south elevator between the first and fourth floors, please submit a Megamation Work Request for a key.
