EUGENE, Ore.–The Lane Community College Mary Spilde Center in downtown Eugene invites the community to its annual fall open house on Friday, September 7, from 4-7 p.m., at 101 West 10th Ave.
The event will feature fun, food and prizes, says Dean of Extended Learning Shara Tscheulin. The popular Lane Food Truck will be there and attendees also can enjoy demonstrations, student art, building tours, music, and free chair massages.
“This is a great way to see what Lane Community College has to offer downtown and to meet our great staff,” says Tscheulin.
Lane’s downtown academic building houses a variety of activities including continuing education noncredit classes, credit classes, events, the Small Business Development Center, and the Energy Management Program. The academic building is LEED Platinum certified and is used as a learning lab by energy management students. The adjacent Titan Court offers student apartments and is LEED Gold certified.
