EUGENE, Ore.–The Lane Community College Board of Education meets Wednesday, June 17 starting at 5:30 p.m.
Annual Budget Hearing
At 5:35 p.m., the annual budget hearing will be called to order for fiscal year 2020-21 budget adoption and appropriation. Public comment may be made at the hearing solely regarding the pre-Covid-19 FY20-21 budget via Zoom webinar by registering in advance. After registering, a confirmation email will be sent containing information about joining the webinar.
Regular Board Meeting
Following the budget hearing, the regular board meeting will resume. Discussion/action agenda items include emergency fee, bond oversight committee, community benefits agreement, board assessment process, president’s evaluation process, and 2020-21 board chair and vice chair nominations. Public comment may be made at the regular meeting on any topic, via Zoom webinar by registering in advance. After registering, a confirmation email will be sent containing information about joining the webinar.

If necessary, the board will meet in Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations, and ORS 192.660(2)(h) Legal Counsel, ORS 192.660(2)(i) Performance Evaluations of Public Officers and Employees, and ORS 192.660(2)(e) Real Property Transactions, and ORS 192.660(2)(f), Exempt Information.
