EUGENE, Ore.– Lane Community College has received an 18-month, $125,000 grant to make it easier for students to apply for admission, and to increase outreach to high school students.
The grant was awarded through the GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) program administered by Oregon State University and funded by the U.S. Department of Education to help more high school students pursue higher education.
LCC Associate Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs Mindie Dieu will lead the grant program at Lane.
