EUGENE, Ore. —The Student Production Association (SPA) at Lane Community College (LCC) is thrilled to announce the staging of "The Aliens", a critically-acclaimed play penned by renowned playwright Annie Baker and directed by Sarah Peterson. This exciting performance will be held in the Ragozzino Performance Hall's Blue Door Theater on the main campus of LCC on Friday, June 2 and Saturday, June 3. Both shows will begin at 7:00 p.m.
The SPA invites all community members to enjoy this captivating production free of charge. Card and cash donations will gladly be accepted; funds raised go toward music scholarships.
"The Aliens" is a captivating narrative revolving around the lives of two friends, Jasper and KJ, who frequent the backside of a coffee shop. Their charm and charisma enthrall Evan, an employee of the coffee shop, who initially tries to dismiss them. Together, they embark on a remarkable journey filled with adventures.
The SPA is an esteemed student organization at LCC that offers students an invaluable opportunity to immerse themselves in the multifaceted world of theater production. Each academic year, this dedicated group of students takes great pride in delivering three full-scale theatrical productions, showcasing their passion and skills in the performing arts.
