EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College (LCC) Board of Education is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the LCC Budget Committee. This committee plays a vital role in reviewing and recommending the college’s annual budget in compliance with Oregon’s Local Budget Law.
The open position is the Zone 2 (Northwest) seat. While applicants are not required to live in the zone, they must be registered voters residing within the Lane Community College District. The appointed member will serve a term ending on June 30, 2027.
Budget Committee meetings are scheduled for three Wednesdays in May from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., with an optional meeting on the fourth Wednesday. Meetings are held both in person at LCC’s main campus boardroom and virtually via Zoom.
