LCC Board of Education and Budget Committee to meet May 17

EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Board of Education and Budget Committee will meet Wednesday, May 17, in the LCC boardroom, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene. The meetings will also be accessible via Lane’s event streaming page.

The Budget Committee meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. The committee will review the proposed 2023-24 budget document, accept public comment, and submit information requests as needed. The Board of Education will begin a Special Meeting at 6:00 p.m., same location. Agenda items include a loan request and the student health clinic.

Public comment will be accepted at the Budget Committee meeting and Board of Education Special Meeting and may be voiced in person or via Zoom. To submit comment via Zoom, advance registration is required. A confirmation email will be sent containing instructions to join the webinar. 

Immediately following the special meeting, the Board of Education will hold a work session in the same location. Discussion items include review of board policies, College Council, and the Mary Spilde Downtown Center.

If necessary, following the work session, the Board will meet in Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations, ORS 192.660(2)(h) Legal Counsel, ORS 192.660(2)(e) Real Property Transactions, and ORS 192.660(2)(f) Exempt Information.
