EUGENE, Ore. — Lane Community College is pleased to announce its Trades Expo and Open House, taking place on Saturday, May 20th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will provide a fun and educational opportunity for people of all ages to experience the college's programs and facilities.
Visitors will have the opportunity to take campus tours and get an up-close look at trades and big rigs. There will also be art displays, music, and hands-on activities, including fun with Ty the Titan, bounce houses, and prizes. Free games, entertainment, and more will also be available, as well as food options for purchase. One highlight of the event will be a car smash scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday outside Building 8.
"This is a great opportunity for people to see what Lane Community College has to offer," said Lane Community College President, Dr. Stephanie Bulger. "Our programs are among the best in the region, and this event is a chance to experience them firsthand."
The Trades Expo and Open House will take place at Lane Community College's main campus located at 4000 E. 30th Ave in Eugene. The event is free and open to the public, and parking will be available. Spanish interpreters will be available.
"We encourage everyone to bring their family and friends to this fun-filled event," added Dr. Bulger.. "There will be something for everyone to enjoy."
