Lane Community College (LCC) is excited to invite students, families, and community members to its Open House event, a day filled with exploration, education, and entertainment. This special occasion will be held on the LCC Main campus 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a unique opportunity for attendees of all ages to discover the diverse programs, state-of-the-art facilities, and vibrant campus life at LCC.
The LCC Open House is designed to showcase the breadth of opportunities available at the college, from academic offerings to extracurricular activities. Highlights of the event include:
- Meet LCC Departments: Engage with representatives from various departments, including Business, Aviation (featuring drones), the Library, Media Arts, Culinary/Baking, the Institute for Sustainable Practices, Health Professions, Computer Information Technology, the Gender Equity Center, Child and Family Education, Admissions, and Public Safety.
- Career Pathways: Discover the multitude of career possibilities that LCC programs can lead to, with faculty and staff on hand to answer questions and provide insights.
- Art & Music Enjoyment: Experience the talents of the LCC Music Department with live performances scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Photo Opportunity with Ty the Titan: Don’t miss your chance to take a memorable photo with LCC’s beloved mascot, Ty the Titan.
- Family Fun Activities: The Open House features an array of kid-friendly activities, including a mega inflatable obstacle course, giant inflatable gator, giant Connect Four, and giant Whack-a-Mole games.
- Taste the delights from local food vendors: including Handel's Homemade Ice Cream, and enjoy free Titan Hot Cocoa.
