Writing & Math Placement

If you're pursuing a degree or certificate, or taking credit classes for personal enrichment, you'll likely need writing placement. You may also need a math placement to clear prerequisites for some courses, particularly in math or computer science, or for entry to certain program. At Lane, placement can be earned through placement testing, other prior testing (like SAT, ACT, IB, or AP), through prior college credit, and other measures.
