Summer in France
Improve your French in a three-week program at the University of Normandy in Caen and spend five days in Paris visiting museums and historical sites. During your stay you’ll live with a host family, allowing you to experience living surrounded by French culture every day. Learn more about how to study abroad in France.
Global Education Oregon
Earn dual credit that you can apply to your degree at Lane when you enroll in any study abroad program offered at the University of Oregon through Global Education Oregon. The partnership allows eligible Lane students to use their financial aid for the program and apply course credit to their Lane degree all while earning University of Oregon credits as well. Visit the University of Oregon’s study abroad website, GEO (Global Education Oregon) to begin exploring programs.
To be eligible to participate in a study abroad program through the UO dual enrollment agreement, students must meet any program-specific requirements. Some programs require prior language study; some have minimum GPA requirements; a few require students to be enrolled at UO for one or two terms prior to participation.
Contact Dana Elliot at University of Oregon for information on how to begin the advising and application process for this option.
International Internships
Gain valuable work experience and credit for an international internship offered through our partnership with Oregon State University’s IE3 Global program. The program offers more than 130 different full-time internships in more than 40 countries. You’ll build work skills in your interest area and benefit from cross-cultural experiences. If you’re ready to start your international internship experience, contact Cooperative Education Coordinator Gerry Meenaghan.
