If you'd like to take a class at Lane, but don't need a degree, there's just two steps for you to get started. Remember, the earlier you enroll, the more likely you are to get the classes you need and want, so don’t wait until the last minute to enroll!
Non-degree students take courses at Lane for college credit without earning a degree. Often, that's a student taking classes for personal enrichment. Still not sure? Reach out to the Admissions Office.
Complete the required Lane Admissions Application
Welcome to Lane! Start by submitting your application at least six business days before the start of your session.
Once you complete your application, you'll receive a confirmation email. You can then log into the admissions portal to check the status of your application and see your next steps. Once your application has been processed, you'll receive your L-Number (Student ID Number) and student email. You'll need your L Number to complete the rest of the admissions steps. If you run into any trouble, or have any questions, reach out to admissions@lanecc.edu.

Register for classes in myLane
That's it! You're ready to register! You can register using the myLane button below, and view our class schedule online.
Some classes may have prerequisites or require instructor approval to be added to your schedule. Please contact the department for the class you want to take (i.e. Want to take Math 111 and need approval? Contact the Math Department at mathoffice@lanecc.edu!) and they can help you understand your options.
If you are an Oregon resident who is 62 or older, you are eligible to receive a Senior Credit Tuition Waiver at Lane Community College.
