EUGENE — Lane Community College celebrates Women’s History Month with a panel discussion, “Resilient Leadership: Women at Work,” featuring local women leaders at 12 p.m. noon on Wednesday, March 10.
The virtual event is free and open to the public. Register via Zoom or view the livestream on the LCC Facebook page.
President Margaret Hamilton created this annual forum three years ago to engage local women in conversation about leadership, and to provide opportunity for students and guests to learn from the shared experiences of women leaders in our communities.
"It is such an honor to have these established leaders in our community,” Hamilton said. “I look forward to hearing about their experiences as they tell us their stories."
The discussion will be moderated by LCC Chief of Staff Deborah Butler. Guests will have an opportunity to pose questions to panelists following the panel discussion.
Panelists include:
- Val Hoyle, Oregon Labor Commissioner
- DeLeesa Meashintubby, Executive Director, Volunteers in Medicine
- Maressa Surrett, Director of Technology and Digital Solutions, International Society of Technology in Education (ISTE) and an LCC alum
- Mo Young, Lane County Equity and Access Coordinatore
