What you’ll earn

Ready for a rewarding career in an in-demand field? With our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) classes, you'll learn the basics of nursing and prepare for certification.

Short-Term Training

In this two part course, you'll learn how to perform basic level nursing care and prepare for the Oregon State Board of Nursing Assistant certification exam as a CNA 1.

To become a CNA 2, you'll need to take another course on acute care.

2-3 courses depending on CNA level
$749 per course

AFTER LANE

After taking CNA classes and obtaining certification, you can work in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and home healthcare agencies. You can further specialize with additional certifications or pursue advanced nursing degrees like Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN). Alternatively, you can transition into roles like Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or continue your education in healthcare administration or therapy assistance.

How do I register for a class?

  1. Visit ce.lanecc.edu to set up a profile and register for class. If you have already created a profile, go to step 8.
  2. Click "Create a New Profile" and fill out the form
  3. You must fill in all boxes that have an asterisk
  4. Your L Number is not required
  5. Use your email address for your username
  6. Create a password of your choice
  7. Once your profile has been set up you are ready to register
  8. Search for a class by clicking "courses" in the left hand column or in the search field on the upper right of the page
  9. Add your class to the shopping cart and checkout to finalize your registration
