EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Concert Choir and Lane Chamber Choir present the 2022 Spring Choir Concert, June 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ragozzino Performance Hall on main campus, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene.
The Lane Concert Choir will open with a set of music from various cultures and traditions. The Lane Chamber Choir will then perform Five Days that Changed the World for chorus, piano, and tympani. This thought provoking piece celebrates the invention of the printing press, the abolition of slavery, the first powered flight, the discovery of penicillin, and the first person in space.
Tickets are by donation at the door. Student admission is free. Proceeds go directly toward scholarships for Lane students.
