We want you back!

We may not know your reasons for stepping away from your educational goals, but we do know the ways we will support your 2024-2025 Come Back Year!

With several learning modalities to choose from: in person, online or a little of both, we aim to meet your scheduling needs! Lane also offers many student resources for academic & personal support, all included in your tuition! If you’d like to be connected, the Early Outreach team is here for you! Are you ready?

Step 1:

If you have not attended Lane for four or more terms, please reapply to Lane here to reclaim your student Lnumber & student email account prior to submitting your application. You may stop by Enrollment Services in Building 1 or email asklane@lanecc.edu if you need further assistance with obtaining your student Lnumber or student email.
- Once you've reclaimed your student Lnumber & student email, go to Step 2.

If you have an outstanding balance at Lane, please connect with Bursar to arrange a payment plan. You may stop by Building 1 or email bursar@lanecc.edu. Be sure to note you intend to apply for the Welcome Back Scholarship, which may apply to your balance!
- Once your payment plan has been arranged, go to Step 2.

Step 2:

Reconnect with Academic Advising to help you create an Individual Academic Plan (IAP) for your comeback year at Lane! Yes - be strategic with weaving college back into your life and secure the schedule you need to be successful!
- Find your Advising Team: search for your program of study within a career community, where you will find your advisor's email.
- Find the Advising Team schedule: you will see drop-in availability for in person and zoom!
- Once you have your IAP documented, go to Step 3

Step 3:

Register for the Fall '24 courses on your IAP prior to the first day of term! If you need assistance, come to Building 1, Room 103 or email earlyoutreach@lanecc.edu for remote assistance.

Step 4:

Apply for the Welcome Back Scholarship here! Applications are due October 11, 2024 by 11:59PM. Scholarships are given on a first-in basis and funds are limited. To qualify, steps 1 - 3 must be completed prior to submitting your application. Scholarship recipients will be notified via their Lane student email by October 16th and $500 will go into your student account by October 31st, how sweet!

When you continue reaching for your degree or certificate, Lane's Welcome Back Scholarship continues right beside you! Successfully complete Winter '25 & Spring '25 and you will automatically be awarded $500 each term, once we verify you've met SAP requirements per term. Your funds will be available for the next term's registration! To be clear, you have the opportunity to earn $1,500 during your 2024-2025 Come Back Year! Go for it!
