Pass/No Pass When a P/NP option has been selected, the instructor still grades on the regular ABCDF system. If the instructor records an A+ or A, the student will receive the A+ or A grade and it will be calculated in the Grade Point Average (GPA). If the grade is A-, B+, B, B- or C+, C, C-, the student will receive a grade of P. If the grade is D+, D, D- or F, the student will receive a grade of NP. Pass and No Pass grades are not calculated in the student's GPA.
