Spaces are limited. We are not able to accommodate additional participants once the classes fill. If you have questions about the course, please contact the Counseling Department at coundept@lanecc.edu or (541) 463-3200.
STEP 2 - Submit an Appeal to Reinstate. Forms are available online at www.lanecc.edu/finaid/forms.
- On the first page of the appeal form, check the statement that reads, “I am taking steps to ensure my future academic success…”.
- On the second page of the appeal form, answer both questions. When describing the steps you are taking to ensure your future academic success, you should specify you are taking Back On Course, list the CRN for the Back On Course section you are taking, and explain how you believe this course will help you.
- Submit your appeal as soon as possible. Appeals are reviewed in the order received. We recommend you return your appeal before the first day of classes for a timely response.
STEP 3 - Verify your Financial Aid Academic Progress status by checking your ExpressLane account before the refund deadline. The winter term refund deadline is midnight on Sunday, January 10. If your status is:
- FA Suspension – your appeal has not been reviewed. You need to decide if you can afford to pay for your classes in the event your appeal is not approved, or withdraw by the refund deadline.
- Appeal Pending – additional information is needed before your appeal can be processed. You need to decide if you can afford to pay for your classes if your appeal is not approved, or withdraw by the refund deadline.
- Appeal Denied – you need to either withdraw from your classes by the refund deadline or pay for them using your own funds.
- Appeal Approved on Probation – your FA Suspension is resolved. You are eligible for aid.
