Beach Cleanup
On Saturday, September 15, 2007, our region gathered in Yachats to participate in SOLV's Fall Beach Cleanup. Nearly 4,000 volunteers collected more than 30 tons of trash that had accumulated over the summer months! We noticed that the beach was unusually clean compared to previous cleanups. The weather was extraordinarily sunny for September in Oregon.
