Proceeds from all performances go to Lane Performing Arts scholarships or to help maintain the general program.

Lane Music

-Thursday, 11/4 @7:30pm Main Stage performance Hall Building 6: Fall Faculty Concert, Details coming soon!

Sunday 11/21 @ 3:00pm, Main Stage, Performance Hall Bldg. 6 The Lane Symphonic Band and the Lane Chamber Orchestra: Music for every ear this evening  as these two groups complement each other with a variety of tunes by historical and contemporary composers.

-Friday,12/3 @ 7:30pm, Performance Hall, Bldg. 6: The Lane Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Lane's own Ron Bertucci, and the Lane Jazz Combo will perform contemporary and classic Jazz tunes. Believe me, a Friday night jazz concert is one of the best ways to shed the worries of the week and get into the weekend mood. I know a lot of you are getting ready for finals so you probably need some decompression! Check the  Online Box Office for Ticket information!

-Thursday, 12/2  @7:30pm Performance Hall Bldg. 6: Lane Choirs Concert: A very popular quadruple bill with the lane Gospel Choir joining Lane Chamber Choir, the Lane Concert Choir and the Spectrum Vocal Jazz Ensemble. Again, be sure to get your tickets early! Check the  Online Box Office for Ticket information!

-Friday 12/3 @ noon, Performance Hall Bldg 6: Music Department Student Showcase: featuring performances by Lane music students. This program presents a wide variety of music and is a great way to spend your lunch break. Free admission!

Tuesday 11/23  @ 7:30pm The Symphonic Band and Chamber Orchestra reprise Thursday's concert!

Lane Dance

-Thur. Sat, 10/28-30 8:00pm Main Stage Performance Hall Bldg. 6: Works Dance, featuring original choreography by Lane dance students. Lane dancers also produce and perform in the concert! Styles from Tap to Modern are featured!

Tuesday, 11/30  @ 3pm Main Performance Hall Bldg. 6: Dance Open Show This free (but donations are  accepted!) concert shows off the finest of Lane's Dance Program. This event always fills the auditorium.

-Thursday-Sat. 9/23 - 10-6 @ 8:00pm on the Main Stage in the Performance Hall

RENT! The hit Broadway Musical Comes To Lane!

-Thursday-Sat. Friday 11/12 - Saturday 11/20 8:00pm, Blue Door Theatre: All the Great Books, the Student Productions Associations annual experimental theater performance. Don't miss out on an "unusually" good time!

-Saturday, 12/4 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm in the Blue Door Theater, 1st floor Performing Arts Hall, Bldg. 6: The Spring 2010 Shakespeare Showcase, organized and directed by Sparky Roberts. This event features favorite scenes and monologues from Shakespeare's works, selected and performed by Lane theater students and the community at large. This event is free (Donations are appreciated), and for most performances the house fills up early so get there early. For this show there are no reservations taken.
