Computers & Laptops
- Public stations
The Library Internet stations may be used by LCC students, staff and community users at no charge.
- Software: Internet Browser(s) (IE, Firefox, and/or Public Web Browser), and Notepad.
- Stations 1 & 2 may be restricted to Library databases and the catalog at the discretion of the librarian on duty.
- Upper floor stations restricted to Library catalog.
- Classroom stations are available for public use when classes are not in session - view Library classroom calendar.
- Need to write a paper? Word processing is available on the circulating laptops and in the computer labs.
- Quick Print Station - Print from Word, Excel, or Powerpoint. Located near the Circulation Desk. Use is limited to three minutes.
- Laptops - circulating
Laptops are available at the checkout counter. Laptop checkout is limited to current students only with proper ID.
- Use your own laptop
The Library is a hotspot for Lane's Student and Staff Access Network.
- Wireless (wifi).
- Ports are available - under stairs, in our two study rooms, and upper floor in SW corner.
- Support is available at the checkout station during laptop check out hours. During other hours, please contact the Student Help Desk.
- Printing is not available.
- Printing
- Free printing is available from Library public stations and Library laptops - 26 page limit with no more than two copies of a single document.
