Lane Family Connections is Lane County's source of information about child care.

Information about what to look for when choosing child care, a list of referrals, and a variety of information related to child care (such as help paying for child care) are included in the initial consultation.

Interested in becoming a child care provider? Our staff will assist you in starting and maintaining your child care business. Parents who need child care are put in touch with providers. We offer training, support, a quarterly newsletter, and a resource library.

Already a child care provider? Lane Family Connections can refer your child care program to parents looking for care. Your no cost listing will provide you with resources, support, and training to assist you in maintaining and developing a child care program.

Training that relates to child care helps make caring for young children more enjoyable and can increase your income. Come join us in fun and practical approaches to spending time with and caring for children.

Professional Development Mentors are available to help providers find opportunities that meet their professional goals, and help support them as they progress in the childhood care and education profession.

Statewide Training Calendar Need to find training hours? Can't find a training in the right category, topic or time frame? Search the Statewide Network training calendar for opportunities. You can search by county, by topic, by date, or by category.

Employers are offered services designed to help support their employee's needs to balance work and family responsibilities. These may include special services in support of employees identifying and finding quality child care.

Community Connections and Resources Local child care supply, demand and other data is made available to the community. Lane Family Connections advocates for child care issues at the state, local and federal level.

Knowing where and what to report can be confusing. Lane Family Consultants can help you know what should be reported and who should be notified.
