Admission Information

Lane Community College accepts all students who are 18 or over or have a high school diploma or GED.

Students who are under 18 and have not graduated may still attend if they follow the guidelines for Under 18 Students

Once you have completed the online form, you will receive your "L number" which will be your Student ID, via email.  If you already have an L number from a prior time, your information will be updated and you will use the same number.

This number will be part of any communications to you, any records about you, and will be your code to access your secure account in ExpressLane-the student access system. 

There is no application deadline for general admission to Lane. Some classes do fill up quickly, so we encourage you to apply before registration begins for the term you wish to attend.

You may apply any time up to one year prior to your intended first term. Lane uses a web-based system for registration, records, financial aid, and billing accounts.
