Employment Skills Training
Student Information
The Employment Skills Training program (EST) is designed to help a student upgrade existing skills or provide additional skills to become more employable in an occupation for which he or she has existing training or experience. EST offers students the opportunity to create an individualized 12-44 credit course of study to gain additional skills and knowledge necessary for employment. Students will work closely with a faculty member to develop realistic plans and, upon successful completion of classes, earn a state-approved certificate (Certificate of Completion, Less than One Year). Most students in the EST program will participate in on-the-job learning in local businesses and community organizations through the Cooperative Education Division.
For additional information and to determine eligibility for EST contact Chuck Fike, Cooperative Education Division, (541) 463-5078.
