NEW in 2025 Application:

  • Max credits to apply will change from 45 to 37 credits.
  • All Prerequisite courses in Section will have equal points for A & B grades.
  • Completion of all Prerequisite credits will receive 5 additional points.  No points will be given for less than all prereqs completed.
  • Prerequisite GPA points are changing to: 4.00-3.50 = 5 points & 3.49-3.33 = 3 points
  • Completion of all Anatomy & Physiology & Microbiology will receive 5 points.  No points will be given for less than all 4 courses.
  • We will be removing the point for a prior degree.
  • Will will be removing MTH 243 Statistics for points, but still recommend it if you are interested in your BSN.
  • Points for Credits completed at LCC is changing to:
  • 33-37 Credits = 6 points
  • 32-19 Credits = 4 points
  • 18-12 Credits = 2 points
  • No repeats of Anatomy & Physiology (except BI233 for expiration or a W) will receive 3 points.
  • Foreign Language Points are changing:  
  • 6 points - Proficiency Test
  • 3 points - College (3 terms/2 semesters of same language)
  • 1 point - High School (2 years of same language)
  • Proof of Healthcare License/Certification will change to 3 points
  • Healthcare Work Experience and the points are changing to:  
  • Healthcare Work or Volunteer Experience in a Healthcare Setting
  • 1000+ hours = 6 points
  • 999-500 hours = 4 points
  • 499-50 hours = 2 points

The Program Online Application and Payment admission system opens at approximately 12:15 a.m. and closes at approximately 11:45 p.m. each day. You must submit your Forms Packet, Online Program Admission Application and Payment and all other required application documents before the deadline of the application close date. Please note: staff is not available weekdays after 5pm, weekends, or holidays to answer questions regarding application issues. Please keep this in mind in case of last-minute questions or issues with the system.

Transfer Students:

Students interested in transferring into Lane Nursing from another Nursing Program are required to send an email to Jennifer Tavernier - TavernierJ@lanecc.edu.
