LCC Board of Education and Budget Committee meetings May 15

EUGENE, Ore. — The Lane Community College Board of Education and Budget Committee will meet Wednesday, May 15, 2024, in the LCC Boardroom, building 3, main campus, 4000 E. 30th Ave., Eugene. The meetings will also be accessible via Lane’s event streaming page.

The Budget Committee meeting will be called to order at 5:00 p.m. The committee will accept public comment and review responses to information requests. Public comment will be accepted at in person or via Zoom. To submit comment via Zoom, advance registration is required.  A confirmation email will be sent containing instructions to join the webinar.

The Board of Education will meet for a Work Session at 6:00 p.m. in the same location. Agenda items for the work session include:

  • Program Spotlight: International Programs
  • College Now and LCC Partnerships
  • Enrollment and Retention Report
  • Paraprofessional/Education Assistant Certificate
  • Third Quarter Financial Update
  • Board Self-Assessment
  • Board Policy 340: Contractual Authority

Following the work session, the Board may meet in Executive Session under ORS 192.660(2)(d) Labor Negotiator Consultations, ORS 192.660(2)(h) Legal Counsel, ORS 192.660(2)(e) Real Property Transactions, ORS 192.660(2)(f) Exempt Information, ORS 192.660(2)(o) Safety and Security, and/or ORS 192.660(2)(p) Cybersecurity.
